Kari Lake will cost taxpayers millions!
Arizona gubernatorial candidate and pathological liar Kari Lake is teaming up with the equally unhinged and delusional conspiracy theorists Mike Lindell and white supremacist secretary of state hopeful Mark Finchem in an attempt to alter Arizona elections forever in a move that would cost Arizona taxpayers millions of dollars.
Lake, Lindell, and Finchem have teamed up to file a lawsuit that aims to outlaw mail-in-voting and the use of electronic vote counting machines in Arizona elections. As a basis for this lawsuit the three stooges are claiming the usual falsehood of massive election fraud in the 2020 election cycle. Despite their continued claims of fraud not one of the three (or anyone ever) has been able to submit any evidence to support such claims.
Regardless of the fact that electronic vote counting machines have been proven to be more accurate than hand counts and despite the three separate Republican lead investigations into Arizona’s 2020 election that found no evidence of fraud, vote tampering, or falsified ballots, Lake, Lindell, and Finchem still claim that hacked voting machines (that were never connected to the internet mind you) were the cause of Trump’s loss in 2020.
The aim of this lawsuit for Lake and her fellow notjobs is to transition Arizona vote tabulating to hand count only system, a time consuming and costly process. This move would add millions of more dollars to a financial burden already in the millions placed on Arizona taxpayers by the multiple asinine audits and recounts that have already taken place.
This lawsuit demonstrates the levels of intellect that we face in today’s Republican party, spend more time and more money for less accurate results. Republicans like Lake and Finchem do not care about election integrity, the people of Arizona, or the freedoms they claim to protect. They care about gaining power so they can force their hateful, twisted, and archaic ideologies on the rest of us no matter what the cost to citizens or how many lies hey must spread.
