Pam Bondi wanted to talk about anything but the Epstein Files in fiery congressional hearing.

Attorney General Pam Bondi came prepared to today’s congressional hearing in front of the House Judiciary Committee to do anything but address the questions the American people are demanding answers to. It was clear Bondi prepped for the hearing, her staff sat behind her at the ready with note cards and binders. However, on those note cards and in the binders was not facts, evidence, or statistics, but rather lists of insults. Insults Bondi and her team had meticulously prepared to direct at specific Democrats on the committee.

When asked serious questions by the committee pertaining to her departments failure to comply with the law and release the full Epstein Files, her failure to protect the identities of Epstein’s victims, and her weaponization of the DOJ to attack Trump’s critics, Bondi refused to answer. Instead, she resorted to hurling childish insults, screaming and trying to change the subject. At one point Bondi appeared to be reading off pre-written talking points, singing Trump's praises and calling him "the greatest president in American history." It was a pathetic show of just how sycophantic and unserious about the subjects at hand Bondi really is.

When asked by Rep. Balint if Bondi or the DOJ had questioned Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and two other members of the Trump administration about their relationships with Epstein after they appeared in the files, Bondi first obfuscated and then tried to accuse Rep. Balint of being antisemitic. Which provoked a fiery response from Rep. Balint whose grandfather was killed during the Holocaust.

The leading Democrat on the committee, Rep. Jamie Raskin, tried to question Bondi about her department’s failure to redact the names and images of Epstein’s victims while covering up the identities of his co-conspirators, Bondi responded with insults, calling Raskin a “loser lawyer.”

However, it was clear that Bondi was the only loser in the room. Her actions in today’s hearing proved one thing: that the Trump administration and Bondi’s DOJ are only interested in protecting the circle of wealthy elites that associated with Epstein and partook in his criminal activities.
